The word of the day is…
ἱκανός, ἱκανή, ἱκανόν
Classical Greek, hikanos, hikanē, hikanon, 1. reaching or attaining to 2. sufficient in size or ability, capable.
This is the word used by John when he tells Jesus he is not worthy. I mentioned this fact previously in my study of Matthew, found here.
