In The Mail

Oh wonderful delivery person (I have no idea if male or female)!

In the mail today were a number of books, all thanks to Derek Ouellette over at Covenant of Love. These are the books from the June Giveaway over at his blog. The following were included in the package:

  • Matt Mikalatos – Imaginary Jesus (a fictional tale that looks interesting, quirky and entertaining – and stars the author!)
  • N.T. Wright – After You Believe (on cursory glance, a look at Christian character when the Spirit is at work)
  • G.R. Evans – John Wyclif (a biography)
  • Mark Goodacre, Nicholas Perrin – Questioning Q (a critique of Q, the hypothetical source for much of the synoptic gospels)
  • D.A. Carson – Scandalous (a look at the impact of the cross and the resurrection)
  • Brian McLaren – A New Kind Of Christianity (a look at some questions he thinks need to be asked)

I look forward to many hours of reading, study, prayer and thought.
