Hour 20 of Alpha Teach Yourself French in 24 Hours (ATYF) is full of idioms. And thus, it is hard to systematize, or present as anything more than a list of expressions. It is like a bunch of vocabulary.
I guess what is important to point out is that you just can’t trust your knowledge of English idioms. Often enough, “to be” is “to have” in French. And that is just one difference.
In any case, I’m not going to brain dump a list of idioms here. We’ve already seen a lot of the idiomatic French that follows “patterns”, like idioms to describe time or weather. The remaining will just have to be encountered on your own time, as you hear and read French.
